The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24-Series-III opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹6199 per gram (Rs 276 up from the 2023-24 series II price of Rs 5923).
The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24-Series-III (SGB 2023-24 Series 3), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 18 Dec 2023 to 22 Dec 2023. The Bonds will be issued on the 28th Dec 2023. The issue price is ₹6199 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹50 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹6149 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly on 5873/gm.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg.
