The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24-Series-II opens on Monday and the issue price has been fixed at ₹5923 per gram (Rs 3 down from the 2023-24 series one price of Rs 5926).
The Sovereign Gold Bonds 2023-24-Series-II (SGB 2023-24 Series 2), issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on behalf of the government, will be open for subscription from 11 Sep 2023 to 15 Sep 2023. The Bonds will be issued on the 20th Sep 2023. The issue price is ₹5923 per gram of gold. Special discount of ₹50 per gram for the investors applying online and the payment against the application is made through digital mode. For such investors, the issue price of the gold bond will be ₹5873 per gram of gold. Assured return of 2.50% PA payable half-yearly on 5873/gm.
Retail Investor can invest Minimum 1 GM and Maximum 4 Kg. The 4Kg limit is per financial year. The Maximum limit of HUF is 4 Kg, Trusts and similar entities is 20 Kg.
