Can a minor invest in IPO?

Minor can have a demat account, trading account and bank account. All this account will be operated by a guardian till the minor becomes major. However, a separate minor bank account is not needed. Joint bank account for guardian and minor is sufficient to open minor demat and trading account.

Yes, a minor investing in IPOs is allowed. It is possible using the minor's own demat account details and bank account of any family member.
