Yes sir, that is your E-Certificate from RBI. Make a copy of that document and save as your record.
I submitted SGB application from HDFC netbanking and it generated a netbanking ID but nothing happened afterwards. Neither amount got debited from my account nor i received any communication that bonds alloted or rejected. How to check the status of this and is there any next step after this?

Hello Nitin Sir, Once you submit application for SGB with HDFC Bank, you will get reference number as shown below:
"Thank you for your application. Your Gold Bond application will be processed shortly. Your netbanking reference number is 090**********502."
Payment will be deducted from your account on SGB Issue date or SGB Allotment Date. IF you have for current SGB which is "Sovereign Gold Bonds 2021-22-Series-III", in that case your fund will be withdrawn on 8th June 2021. However, you have submitted the SGB request between 31st May to 4th June 2021.
For HDFC online SGB purchase, I received "confirmation receipt" from Email. Is this the only evidence for the purchase? Do we get "Holding certificate" from bank or RBI or can we track it in any RBI related website ?
I purchased SGB in 2019 using HDFC bank and during the purchase I had a DEMAT with HDFC securities. Since I was not using the DEMAT I got it closed in 2020. How can I track my SGB now? I dont see any on my HDFC account, all I have is a certificate from RBI.

Hell Sir, Good you have RBI Certificate. Please chk in your RBI Certificate does have your demat account number, if yes your HDFC demat account can't be closed without moving the shares in some other demat account. The second scenario, when you have purchased SGB, it was not linked to your Demat account and now you hold only e-certificate of your SGB. Tracking of SGB is only possible with demat account. If you don't have demat account linked with your SGB, you hold SGB, but its like old type of paper bonds. Now interest will be directly deposited in your bank account and on final maturity, your full refund amount will be deposited back to your bank account (mentioned in your RBI Certificate). You don't need to request for any closing of the SGB on/after maturity.
Should my SGB certificate be authenticated by the issuing bank? Ravi

Not really. SGB is issued by RBI directly. So in that case Bank will not have any involvement. You will get a certificate from RBI on your registered email id. "Agency Bank CIF" will be mentioned as your bank name. Source of email - EKUBER HELPDESK "[email protected]".
