I have purchased sgb through hdfc net banking. And I have received a certificate by Kuber. Hdfc bank isn't showing my bond why?

SGB purchased with HDFC net banking will not show in your bank account. As you have received your certificate, that is your copy of SGB. In case you have demat account, you can transfer this certificate to your demat account and can see SGB performance in your portfolio. You can buy or sell SGB in the open market once they are in Demat format.

What is "LG Code " as mentioned in the form ?
Where from I should know this ?
Is it necessary to fill this while purchasing bond ?

Hello Sir, LG Code is an optional filed and need not require for retail investor.

LG meaning is "A letter of guarantee" which is not required when we are buying SGB from online platform.

Hi,
I have purchased the SGB via HDFC net banking application today 9th Aug 2021. I got net banking reference number for the application. I can see my amount is on hold in my net banking account. Few questions:
1. When I will get SGB certificate issued and on which date amount will be debited?
2. Can I track my SGB in my net banking account?
3. Will I get the certificate only through email? Can I download it from my net banking account?

I had selected Demat as no on form as my demat account is closed.

A: SGB Issue date is 17th Aug 2021 for the current offer, so approx same day or one day in advance. So 16th or 17th.

Q: Can I track my SGB in my net banking account?
A: No, you can see the only transactions in your net banking account.

Q: Will I get the certificate only through email? Can I download it from my net banking account?
A: You will get a certificate only via email. In case you need a copy from the bank, please visit your nearest HDFC branch. They can help you.

Without Demat , can buy SGB thru HDFC Bank net banking ??

Yes, you can invest in SGB without Demat account with HDFC. In case, you need to trade your SGB, you don't have this option open as you are not holding your bonds in Demat. In short, no early redemption is possible with this option.

I purchased SGB 2021-22 Series I and money got deducted from my HDFC account on 6/10. I have not received any certificate so far.
I dont have a demat account.
Where can i see my SGB in HDFC online.
Do i need to have demat account to see the SGB?

Hello Sir, It will not show in your HDFC Portfolio. You must have received an email form EKUBER HELPDESK "[email protected]". Please check your registered email.
