How to buy SGB from HDFC bank for Minor account holder?

A minor can invest in Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) but the applications must be made by his/her guardian on behalf of the Minor. As the bank doesn’t provide a net banking facility to Minors, therefore, SGB cannot be purchased online. To buy SGB from HDFC bank for minors, parents/guardians must visit the bank branch and submit an offline/physical application.
