How to check sovereign gold bond status?

To check the sovereign gold bond status, if you have purchased SGB online with a Demat account, then after the issuance of the SGB, it will reflect in your portfolio. This process will take 1 to 2 weeks.

In case of offline purchase, you can collect the certificate of holding from the issuing bank/SHCIL offices/Post Offices/Designated stock exchanges/agents. Later, you will get a digital copy of the certificate in the email address entered in the application form from RBI.
