Unihealth Consultancy Limited was established in 2010. The company is a healthcare services provider based in Mumbai, India, and operates in several countries on the African continent. Its businesses include medical centres, hospitals, consulting services, distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, and medically valuable travel.
Under its flagship brand, "UMC Hospitals," the company operates a total capacity of 200 hospital beds at its two multidisciplinary facilities, UMC Victoria Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, with a bed strength of 120 beds, and UMC Zhahir Hospital in Kano, Nigeria, with a bed strength of 80 beds.
Currently, the company is providing project management consulting services to PHRC Lifespaces for the construction of a 300+ bed healthcare city in Undri, Pune (Maharashtra, India).
Consulting Services enables the company to explore partnership opportunities for the development and expansion of its network of hospitals under the "UMC Hospitals" brand, either through equity partnerships or operating and management agreements that provide growth opportunities for the company and also generate revenues and profits as a stand-alone business unit.
The company exports and distributes pharmaceutical and consumer medical products in Uganda, Tanzania and Nigeria.
