SAMCO is providing 2-in-1 account which is a trading and demat account. You can close your trading and demat account or only trading account if you have not opted for demat account with below-given process.
1. Clean your trading account, i.e sell all your Intraday holdings, transfer your fund into your bank account.
2. In case you have demat holdings, you need to sell or plan to transfer all your holdings to a new demat account. For transferring your holdings, contact your new broker. You need to submit a physical form to transfer your holdings to new demat account.
3. Call SAMCO helpdesk to send you an account closure form via email.
4. Once you receive SAMCO Account closure form, print, fill the form, sign (In case of a joint account, all holders must sign the closure form), and send the form to the SAMCO corporate office.
5. On receiving the closure request form, the SAMCO CRM team will do the required paperwork in 7 days. Maximum time for account closure confirmation is 15 days. In case you don’t get a confirmation in 2 weeks, do follow up with the SAMCO customer care team.
