Very high brokerage charges compared to others and no service in return. You pay 0.50% + GST, BOTH on purchase and sell of shares! For e.g If you bought shares worth 10 lakh rupees Axis direct will cut 5700 rupees as brokerage. When you sell 10 lakh rupees worth shares, again Axis direct will cut 5700 rupees. When your share price increases and total investment amount increases and you will eventually pay 0.50 % on the TOTAL share amount at that time...imagine!. I did not know this before unfortunately. I sent email to Axis direct and asked them to change my brokerage plan but they refused to do it ! I am closing Axis demat soon and will opt for other brokerages which charge 0 % on PURCHASE /SELL of shares. You save lot of money when you calculate. Do not opt for Axis direct ! They are looters.

Brockrage is very high. It is coming to almost 1.6% of the total value which is very very high. Even I have maintained quarterly balance of Rs 75, 000/- in my account. they are still charging the brokerage at 0.8% on purchasing and 0.8% on selling. Customer service is very poor.

Pledge of Shares: Worst, Very High Charges pledge is based on the % of amount of share value, not fixed as compared to zerodha or upstox

Payout Request/Money Withdraw: Worst ,Non axis account holders need to call customer care for money withdrawal request
Advantage : Pledged shares can be used to for option selling / futures trading with out 50:50 collateral + cash requirement. This is one and only advantage.
I maintained 3-1 account with you. I was told the timing of square off (intraday) was 2.45 p. m. But here I find the timing was 3.15 p. m.. Please update which one is right. Regards

Hello Sir, Official timing given by Axis Direct is 2:45 PM for Intraday Trades Auto Square Off. Zerodha, Upstox, SAMCO other major discount brokers have given window for 3:15 PM. The time window was given by Axis Direct to be on the safer side and way early, but it depends on the broker to broker.
Worst experience ever by using axis direct if you want unnecessary loss then you choose Axis direct
