Any company willing to repurchase its own shares can do so by any of the below methods;

1. Through tender offer: Buyback of shares from existing shareholders on a proportionate basis
2. Through Open market: In this, an entity can purchase its shares directly from the market either through a book-building process or stock exchange mechanism.
