Can a Minor add a nominee to his Demat Account?

No, minor cannot nominate any one to his Demat Account.

Although the Demat Account is in minor’s name but parents or guardian is the primary party responsible for all the transactions. This is the reason why SEBI prohibits minors to add nominee to their Demat Accounts.
