To close your Upstox demat account online, you need to log in to the Upstox mobile app – navigate to profile option – go to account closure.
Step by step Upstox account closure process
- Log in: Log in to the Upstox app.
- Account section: At the bottom, click on Account option.
- Profile: Click on My account and then profile option.
- Account closure: Scroll the screen and click on account closure at the end.
- Specify a reason: Choose any reason from the dropdown list and tap on Continue
- Click on close account
- Ensure to have no active holdings, no active SIPs, clear account balance, and all orders cleared.
- OTP: A 6-digit OTP will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number.
