There are two ways to invest or apply in an SME IPO through the net banking ASBA or UPI via a stockbroker, explained below;
Apply in SME IPO online via UPI: If you have a trading cum demat account with a broker who allows SME IPO, then you can directly apply through UPI wherein the application money will be directly blocked in your bank account linked to the trading account. The amount will be only debited if the shares are allotted.
Invest in SME IPO through ASBA: You can bid for an SME IPO through a bank-based ASBA process. An applicant has to fill out the ASBA application form to the bank and if shares are awarded, it will be transferred to the demat account.
