With the BlinkX trading account, you can buy and sell stocks listed on the BSE and NSE, and trade in the BSE and NSE F&O and currencies (CDS) segment. You can also invest in IPOs, mutual funds, bonds, and other investment products.

Note: BlinkX Demat maintenance fee is charged every quarter. The broker charges you Rs 75 + 18% GST every quarter from 2^nd year onwards.

BlinkX Zero Brokerage Trading Account

BlinkX provides zero brokerage trading accounts to customers.

With this, you can do unlimited trading in stocks, NSE F&O, and currencies at no brokerage by paying Rs 999 Rs 799 as a one-time subscription fee for 6 months.

After the 6 months expiry, users have to renew the plan again. BSE F&O trading is not covered in the plan.

BlinkX Online Account Opening Process

Open a BlinkX trading account for free and trade in equity, derivatives and currency segments. The BlinkX account opening process is superfast and completely paperless. You can open a BlinkX account online in a hassle-free manner in less than 10 minutes using your smartphone or laptop.

Here is the step-by-step guide on how to open BlinkX Demat Account;

1. Download the BlinkX app or go to the BlinkX website and click on Open an Account
2. Sign-up: Enter your mobile number and enter OTP to verify it.
3. Email: Provide a valid email address and enter the OTP sent to your mail address.
4. PAN number: Enter your PAN card details including PAN number and date of birth.
5. Brokerage plan: BlinkX has two zero brokerage unlimited trading plans between Rs 399 199 for 2 months and Rs 999 799 for 6 months plan. You can select any plan of your choice.
6. Payment: As per the selected brokerage plan, pay the applicable brokerage amount via UPI, net banking, or debit card.
7. KRA verification: The system will automatically fetch your Aadhaar card, and verify your Aadhaar card details.
8. Bank verification: Enter your bank account details manually or verify them directly using the UPI payment address.
9. Document Upload: Now, scan and upload your PAN card, bank proof, and other essential documents.
10. Personal Details: Enter basic info like gender, male, name, and mother’s name and tap on continue.
11. Financial information: Provide your educational qualification, annual income, occupation, and trading experience.
12. Selfie upload: Capture and upload a selfie for in-person verification (IPV).
13. E-sign: E-sign the KRA and BlinkX account opening form digitally by entering your Aadhaar details and OTP.
14. You have successfully opened an account with BlinkX. You can download the signed documents on your device.

BlinkX Account Opening Documents

To Open a BlinkX Account, you must have some documents handy. Here is the list of documents you have to provide to BlinkX;

• PAN card
• Aadhaar card as proof of identity
• Address proof: Aadhaar card, passport, Voter ID, electricity bill, etc.
• Bank account proof: Canceled cheque, or the front page of your passbook.
• Your selfie
• A digital copy of your signature
• Income proof (salary slip, last 6 months' bank statement, IT return, etc.) is mandatory only to trade in the F&O segment

Keep in mind

• Before you open an account, ensure your Aadhaar card is linked with your PAN card.
• Aadhaar card must be linked to your mobile number otherwise, you won’t be able to open an online trading account in BlinkX.

BlinkX Account Activation Status

Once you have submitted documents and it gets verified by the BlinkX team, your account will be activated within 24 to 48 hours. After account activation, you will receive your BlinkX account login credentials including username and password at your registered email address.

However, in case of any discrepancy found, you have to revisit the process.

BlinkX Account Closure Charges

Nil, there are no charges to close the BlinkX Demat account.

If you are not trading in any segment of the stock market, it is advisable to close your Demat account to avoid paying demat maintenance charges.

How to close a BlinkX Demat Account?

Can the BlinkX Demat account be closed online? The answer is “No”, BlinkX account cannot be closed online.

To close your account in BlinkX, you have to contact the customer care representative or visit the nearest JM Financial branch and ask for the account closure form. Fill out the details in the account closure form, sign it, and submit the duly filled closure form to the broker. Once done, your trading account will be closed.

Before account closure, you should have no negative balance, no open positions, and no holdings lying in your demat account. If your Demat account has any holdings, you have to transfer it to another Demat account to proceed with account closure.
