Medplus Health Services is the second-largest pharmacy retailer company in India in terms of revenue from operations and the number of stores. The business offers pharmaceutical and wellness products (medicines, medical devices, vitamins, test kits, etc.) and FMCG products (personal care, home care, baby care, sanitizers, etc.). It is also the first pharmacy retailer to provide an omnichannel platform including physical stores, orders over a telephone call, online orders, and click and pick facility.
The company was started with 48 stores initially in Hyderabad and grew to the pharmacy retail outlet network of 2000+ stores in key markets. As of June 30, 2021, the firm operates 520 stores in Karnataka, 458 in Tamil Nadu, 443 in Telangana, 274 in Andhra Pradesh, 201 in West Bengal, 186 in Maharashtra, and 83 in Odisha. The firm aims to open retail outlets in high-density populated areas to expand customer reach.
