Upstox Monthly Charges

Upstox charges the account maintenance charge (AMC) as per the plan at the time of account opening. Users who have opened account before August 2021, the discount broker charges a Monthly Maintenance Charge of Rs 25 + GST = Rs 29.50, however, if you have opened account after August 2021, there will be zero monthly charges.

However, your AMC charges can be totally free if your account satisfies the BSDA(Basic Service Demat Account) Criteria. For the BSDA account, the condition is you need to have only one Demat account and the holding value including stocks, mutual funds, and bonds should be less than 2 lakhs.
