To trade in commodities, first, ensure you have opened a commodity trading account in Upstox.
- Open commodity trading account or enable commodity segment (if you already have an equity trading account)
- Activate the commodity segment
- Transfer the required funds in the trading account
- Search for commodity futures and options contracts
- Place a Buy or Sell order.
- Fill in price, quantity, etc.
- Confirm the order
Upstox offers a flat fee of Rs 20 per order on commodity trading on MCX.
