How to add nominee in Zerodha?

It is mandatory to add a nominee to your Zerodha account. You can add nominee online in your Zerodha account using console backoffice. Follow these steps to add a nominee in Zerodha online;

1. Login to console.zerodha.com.
2. Click on Account and tap on Nominees.
3. Click on Add nominee option.
4. Now, enter the nominee details.
5. You can add upto 3 nominees and allocate the percentage of share accordingly.
6. Once nominee added, tap on continue.
7. Agree to the terms & conditions and click on proceed.
8. Click on Sign Now.
9. Enter the aadhaar number of account holder and click on send OTP.
10. Enter the OTP and verify it.
11. Once the process is completed, the nominee will be added to your account within 5 working days.
