How to Open Indiabulls Securities Trading and Demat account Online?
Indiabulls Securities offers online account opening via its mobile app (Android and iOS) or its website. Users just need to download the mobile app, click on the signup page and provide the required details to initiate the online onboarding process. You can set up an Indiabulls Securities account online in less than 15 minutes.
Check out the steps to open an Indiabulls Securities demat account via the mobile app:
Step 1: Download the Indiabulls Securities App or access website
- Download the Indiabulls Securities app from the Play store or the app store.

Step 2. Sign-up
- Open the Indiabulls share trading app and click on “Open Demat account” button.
- Enter your mobile number and 6-digit OTP sent on it.
- Enter your email ID and 4-digit OTP to authenticate, and click on Proceed.
Step 3. PAN verification
- Enter PAN details, i.e., PAN card number and Date of Birth as per PAN
- The system verifies the PAN details from the income tax website.
Step 4: Bank account verification
Verify your bank account using UPI (instant method) or by entering your bank details manually.
- UPI method: UPI is a preferable choice to verify your account instantly. Simply select the UPI option – UPI app (Gpay, PhonePe, Whatsapp, etc.), and Re 1 will be deducted from your bank account.
- Enter bank details manually: Enter bank account number, IFSC code, and tap on Verify bank details.
Step 5: E-KYC via DigiLocker or KRA
- KRA verified: If you’re KRA verified, the system will automatically fetch your PAN and Aadhaar card online from the KRA system.
- Non-KRA verified: If you’re non-KRA verified, click on “Continue with DigiLocker” and enter your aadhaar card number and PIN. Once done, the system will fetch your PAN card and Aadhaar card from DigiLocker to complete your KYC setup.
Step 6: Enter personal details
- Input personal details, like marital status, parent name, occupation details, tax residency, annual income, trading experience, etc, and click on the proceed
Step 7: Upload documents
- If you wish to trade in futures & options (F&O) segments too, an income proof will be required. You can auto-fetch your bank statement online or upload the income proof manually. You can skip this step, if you are not interested in F&O trading.
- Upload the supporting documents, a live selfie and signature.
Step 8: Choose trading segment
Indiabulls Securities offers trading in the following segment, choose your preferred ones:
- Equity (Trade and/or invest on NSE and BSE)
- Derivatives (Equity F&O, commodity F&O, and Currency F&O)
Once selected, agree to the terms & conditions (T&C). Customers who opted for margin trading facility (MTF) need to agree to the T&C to activate MTF facility.
Step 9: Add Nominee (Optional)
- Click on Opt in to add a nominee to your Indiabulls Securities trading account. To add, click on “Yes” and enter nominee details like name, relation with nominee, etc.
- Opt-out: If you don’t want to add a nominee to your account, simply click on the Opt out option and skip this step.
Step 10: E-sign the Indiabulls Securities Account Opening Form
- You will be redirected to the NSDL website for e-signing.
- Click on the Sign Now
- Enter your aadhaar card number and OTP sent to the registered mobile number.
- You’ve successfully completed the onboarding process.
- The documents will be verified by the Indiabulls Securities team. Once done, you will receive your Indiabulls Securities account login credentials (Unique client code and password) on the registered email from [email protected].
Step 11: Login to Indiabulls Securities account and start trading
- Log in to your Indiabulls Securities trading account using your login credentials. (Check steps below)
- Once done, start online trading in stocks and derivatives (Equity, currency, and commodities) segment.

- Open the Indiabulls Securities App on your phone.
- Enter your mobile number, user ID and password (provided in the welcome email).
- Set a new password by clicking on the “Forgot password” option.
- Set a 4-digit MPIN or enable biometric login (recommended).
- Enter the OTP to verify.

For KRA verified customers, PAN Card and Aadhaar card are fetched from KRA system while for Non-KRA clients, it is fetched via DigiLocker.
Indiabulls Securities Online Account Closure –Process, charges, and Closure Form
You can close your Indiabulls Securities account online using its mobile app. Upon closure request, both the Indiabulls Securities trading and demat account will be closed permanently.
However, before initiating the account closure process, you should do the following:
- Clear and settle all outstanding dues.
- Your demat account should not have any shares, holdings, or open positions.
- If your demat account contains stocks, you must submit the delivery instruction slip (DIS) along with the account closure.
Steps to close Indiabulls Securities Demat account online using app:
- Log in to the Indiabulls Securities mobile app.
- Go to Profile
- Under Account details, click on More Actions
- Click on Close Account
- An account closure confirmation page will be shown.
- Specify the reason for closing Indiabulls Securities account.
- Tap on Confirm & Close account.
- Select Trading & Demat
- Select Reason for closing Trading & Demat from drop down menu
- Enter 6 digit mobile OTP
- Click on Esign Sign Now
- Enter your Aadhar Number & click on Get OTP
- Enter Mobile / Email OTP
- The account closure request will be submitted.
- The closure request will be reviewed, and it may take 7 working to close your trading and demat account with Indiabulls Securities. - request you to please do this process.
Steps to close Indiabulls Securities Account offline
