Sharanam Infraproject And Trading Limited was originally incorporated under the name Skyhigh Projects Limited on February 5, 1992. The company's original purpose is to establish facilities for the manufacture of wristwatch cases. These are the main objectives of the company:

• To engage in real estate business, including but not limited to the purchase and sale of land and buildings, holding and purchasing, selling, leasing, subleasing, maintaining, assigning, transferring, managing, exchanging, pledging, assuming leases, tenancies or subleases, and constructing, altering, extending, converting or demolishing buildings or tenements, blocks of apartments, apartments, stores, warehouses, building materials, repairing, overhauling or maintaining land and buildings, fixing and collecting rents.
• Acquisition by purchase, lease, exchange, lease-purchase or otherwise of land, showrooms, buildings and real estate, and of rights in land or rights appurtenant to land, or the retention thereof for the purpose of business or use, as deemed expedient.
• To lease, lease-purchase or otherwise acquire land, plantings, rights to land and real estate of any kind, and interests in, rights to land or real estate deemed necessary or convenient for the business the Corporation is authorised to conduct.
• The acquisition of land and buildings of any kind by purchase, lease, exchange or otherwise for the purpose of constructing hospitals, medical colleges, nursing homes, dispensaries, dormitories and other educational institutions and research centres.
