FIBERWEB (INDIA) LTD. was established in 1985 and was engaged in the manufacture and export of injection moulded, blow moulded and roto-moulded products on German machines as well as garbage bags and carrier bags. In the early 1990s, Fiberweb decided to diversify into the nonwovens business in response to the growing global demand for nonwovens and to streamline its existing business model. The company set up its flagship spunbond facility, the first of its kind in India.

FWB is a 100% export-oriented unit (EOU) that exports about 75% of its products to countries like the US, UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the Gulf countries. Thanks to its focus on quality and consistency, the company’s products are in high demand in the market. In India, the company supplies to multinational companies such as Johnson & Johnson India Ltd. and Unicharm India Ltd.
