Muthoot Mini Financiers is a non-banking-financial-company - Middle Layer (NBFC - ML) in the gold loan segment. The company offers loan against the pledge of gold jewellery in the states of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Haryana, Gujarat, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Puducherry.
Its gold loan customers are primarily from rural and semi-urban areas. As of Dec 31, 2024, it has a gold loan portfolio of 3,51,650.71 lakh, whih is 92.15% of the total loans and advances.
Further, it also offers microfinance loans, unsecured loans to joina liability group of women customers (minimum 5). Additionally, it offer depository participant services, money transfer services, insurance agent services, PAN card related services and travel agency services.
As of December 31, 2024, it has 921 branches all over the country.
