Kosamattam Finance, part of the Kosamattam Group, is a non-deposit taking NBFC classified under the Middle Layer. The company’s core business is providing loans against household gold jewellery. Its presence spans multiple states, including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Telangana, as well as the Union Territories of Puducherry and Delhi.
As on September 30, 2025, Kosamattam Finance managed 11.61 lakh active gold loan accounts, with an aggregate loan value of โน6,13,711 lakh. Gold loans constituted more than 99% of the company’s total loan portfolio, which has shown steady growth in both account volume and value over recent years.
The company had a strong operational network of 981 branches across India as of December 31, 2025, supported by a workforce of 3,924 employees.
Kosamattam Finance caters to a diverse customer base that includes business owners, traders, farmers, salaried individuals and households. Customers can select from a range of gold loan products designed to suit varying requirements, with loan tenures of up to 12 months and flexibility for early repayment.
The average loan size per gold loan account has remained in the range of โน53,000 to โน58,000 over the past few years. For the six-month period ended September 30, 2025, the company reported total income of โน50,515 lakh and a profit after tax of โน8,060 lakh.
